Terri Smith – President - terri@poseidonpools.net

Terri Smith is the President and CFO for Poseidon Pools, Ltd. She is an Aquatic Facility Operator (AFO) through the National Recreation and Park Association, she is a Certified Pool Operator with Galveston County, TX and an active member in the Texas Public Pool Council (TPPC). As the President she keeps her fingers on the pulse of all aspects of the business on a daily basis. However, her primary duties are to work with her very bright and ingenious office staff throughout the year in always trying to maintain the company’s mission and vision through effective communication with Residents, HOA’s, Property Managers and Employees.

She believes effective communication is one of the keys to success in customer and employee relations. She also works side by side with the company’s diligent & zealous Field Directors, in the areas of hiring & interviewing, Lifeguard & other ongoing staff training, development of community events & programs. As CFO, she is responsible for overseeing all aspects of accounting, payroll and other areas that require financial decision making.

She is passionate about public health & safety issues and working with young people, which makes her job her “dream-job”. During the swim season she is frequently out in the field overseeing and coaching the lifeguard staff. Terri attended Southwest Baptist University and Ouachita Baptist University where her focus of study was Education and Business Management. When Terri is not working she enjoys time spent with her husband, 3 children and a menagerie of pets.

Bryce Smith – Vice President - bryce@poseidonpools.net

Bryce Smith is the Vice President of Operations for Poseidon Pools, Ltd. , and oversees daily operations and maintenance.   He takes a “hands on” approach to insuring facilities are operated properly and compliant with current codes.

Having been a NSPF Certified Pool Operator since 2002, Bryce also is an Aquatic Facility Operator with the National Recreation and Parks Association, and an NSPF Certified Pool Inspector.  He attended the National Swimming Pool Foundation Instructor Class, and is now certified as an NSPF Instructor and teaches Certified Pool Operator Courses (CPO) which are required by State Law to operate public pools.

He continues to further his Aquatics knowledge through educational seminars and continuing training in the changing codes which affect the Aquatics Industry.
Having been a NAUI Certified Diver since 1972, he conducts underwater pool repairs and replacements of equipment which normally would require draining a pool.
Over the last 5 years, he has been a featured speaker for the Texas Environmental Health Association’s annual meetings, discussing pool inspections and legislative changes which affect the pool industry.   Additionally, he regularly consults with inspectors of local health districts on compliance issues related to commercial pools, and conducts educational seminars for new inspectors on pool inspections.

Prior to founding Poseidon Pools, Ltd., Bryce was a Master Police Officer for 26 years and retired in 2006 from public service.

Travis Smith - Pearland Zone Facility Director- travis@poseidonpools.net

Travis has been with Poseidon Pools since September of 2002, and is currently the Facility Operations Director for the Pearland Area.  Travis has been involved in the aquatics industry since he was a 15-year-old lifeguard.  Travis is an American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor Trainer, and American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor, a Certified Pool Operator and he is actively involved in the Texas Public Pool Council.  Travis graduated from the University of Houston – Clear Lake in 2010 earning a Bachelor’s degree in Communication.

Leo Castillo - South Zone Facility Director - leo@poseidonpools.net

Leo is the Field Director for the South Zone.  He has been involved in the aquatics industry for over 10 years, since first starting out as a 15-year-old lifeguard working for several other community pool management companies before joining Poseidon Pools in February of 2006.   Leo graduated from the University of Houston with his Bachelor’s degree in May of 2007.  He holds certifications to teach Lifeguarding, First Aid, CPR, Disease Prevention, AED and Oxygen Administration through the American Red Cross.  He is also a Lifeguard Instructor Trainer for the Red Cross.  Leo is a Certified Pool Operator (CPO) and an Aquatics Facility Operator (AFO).

Misty Stockwell - Aquatics/North Zone Facility Director - aquatics@poseidonpools.net

Misty is the Aquatics and North Zone Operations Field Director.  Misty has been part of the Poseidon Team since April 2007.   Misty has over 18 years of experience in the aquatics industry.  She started out as a 15-year-old lifeguard and swim instructor.  Misty is an American Red Cross Lifeguard Instructor Trainer.  Misty attended the University of Houston – Clear Lake majoring in Communications.  She avidly supports water safety awareness and is an active member of the Texas Public Pool Council.

Oscar Garza – Maintenance Director – oscar@poseidonpools.net

Oscar is the Maintenance Director and has been part of the Poseidon team since 2008.  He holds a certification as a Certified Pool Operator (CPO).  Oscar has worked in and out of the aquatics industry for over 15 years.

Brandon Miller – Risk Management Coordinator – brandon@poseidonpools.net

Brandon is the Lifeguard Instructor.  He has been with Poseidon since December of 2006.  Brandon is responsible for the Audit Division of the company.  He works in conjunction with the auditors to plan and implement the Safety Audits each year.  Brandon is a CPR/AED instructor through the American Red Cross, and he is an American Red Cross Lifeguarding Instructor..  Brandon has an Associate Degree in Business Management and is attending the University of Houston – Clear Lake for a business degree in Human Resource Management.

Brittany has been with Poseidon Pools since 2004. She is currently in charge of accounts receivable & payroll. She holds many American Red Cross certifications such as: Lifeguarding for the Professional Rescuer, First Aid, CPR & AED, Preventing Disease Transmission, Oxygen Administration, Lifeguard Instructor and Water Safety Instructor. Brittany graduated from University of Houston-Clear Lake, December 2011 with a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing & plans to further her education.
